Mananging change successfully

Managing and facilitating projects professionally – Process Competence in Projects

Your intention

Project work involves changes for the organisation as well as for the people affected by the project results. Effective change managers influence important stakeholders and implement a change-related process, which leads to widespread acceptance and sustainable development.
As a successful and experienced project manager you are aware of the obstacles of change management and know about situations where people simply reject change.

This Basic Module 'Managing change successfully' provides you with tools and methods which help to treat fears and reservations of the people affected and to implement changes in a reasonable time frame with a high rate of acceptance.

What you will learn

You will learn to shape change management processes through applied project management. We acquaint you with diagnostic models and implementation tools to set up effective change management processes. This seminar teaches you how to deal with resistance to change and how to involve powerful stakeholders. In doing so, you will prevent your concepts from being buried in a file cabinet.

What questions will be answered?
  • How can I identify the need for change in an organisation?
  • How can I manage change projects through their operational phase? What   models and tools will help me in doing so?
  • How can systemic management methods help me to advance the change process?
  • How can I recognise resistance and barriers to change and how can I deal with them?
  • How can I evaluate the power structure in the organisation and handle it?
For whom is the training intended?

This basic training is for project managers, executives, project consultants and other persons responsible for change management projects.
